Thanks everyone for the comments...

What I kind of did: (I've never made a tute and I just winged it and it turned out great!)

I had a t-shirt I split down the sides so i had one front panel and one back panel.

I took a long rectangular piece of black jersey material and I centered it on the back panel of the shirt and stitched it.

I then went to my dress from and lined up the back panel with the front panel since I knew the front panel would be low i started pinning where I wanted it.  When I got to the long rectangular piece of jersey I wrapped it around the arm and pinned it to the sides of the shirt to create an armhole and short sleeve. 

Then I trimmed back some of the rectangular piece of jersey and folded it over around the neck. 

Hmmm... I read this and its kind of confusing... I'll try to draw a tute
