Matzah Lasagna

Looks yummy.  What's matzah? 

It's a super-flat Kosher cracker.

I just found this recipe yesterday (THANK YOU, HSG!) and bought the ingredients.  It will be tonight's dinner! I am super excited to try this - and my picky hubby is excited to eat it!

As I was taking the Matzah's out of the box, my little blonde Sissy girl was waiting patiently (as she always does) for something to fall from the heavens into her mouth.  She wasn't dissappointed!  She snatched the floating matzah before it hit the ground and took it to her princess perch to be devoured.  I just had to share, 'cause she's so darn cute!

Thanks! I'm pretty biased, but she's actually even cuter in real life - if you can believe it! And talk about spoiled...

HSG: OMG! We just inhaled this for dinner. I mean literally inhaled! It is soooooo delicious!! My only mods to your recipe - I used Basil instead of Oregano (thought I had some, turns out I didn't!) and I added a layer of mushrooms between the cottage cheese and sauce layers.  It was scrumptious and incredibly easy!  The only problem was waiting for it to come out of the oven!! 

Everyone should try this!  If it weren't for all the great recipes on Craftster, my husband and I would be skinny!

This sounds so yummy! Is there anything I might be able to use in place of Matzah (can't find it here)? Thank you for sharing!

I guess any kind of sturdy cracker may work, but I'm not sure. Post if you try another kind of cracker.

WOW! Tried this for dinner this evening- I have to admit I was dubious as the idea of hot cottage cheese kinda eeked me out 

But It was SOOOOOOOOOOO yummy- even if I say so myself! and it was so simple to make!

Will def be making again!
