I usually do not get more than half a dozen responses for my posts. I like to think that its due to my crappy pics than my work. Grin

here goes my Shell shawl, another crappy pic...Its not my original pattern.I lifted the basic pattern from somewhere and altered it.

Thinking whether to add fringes to the shawl. What say guys?

They're both lovely, you do good work!   Fringe is a very individual thing.  I personally don't care much for it so probably wouldn't put it on there.  But that's just me.

Yikes!  They are both really lovely but I really love the shawl.  As to fringe, why mess with a good thing?

Very nice!  Personally, I'd add a fringe so it doesn't look like you just wrapped a blanket around your shoulders.  That said, I think your shawl would make a lovely blanket!

both are beautiful as is. the fringe would depend on what yarn you used. some yarns tend to knot really bad in fringe after you launder them.

Love, love, love the cap!  So gorgeous.

I don't add fringe to my stuff usually, but that's because I've noticed it has a tendency to collect pet fur (I have three dogs and a cat).  I do think it would look pretty on your shawl, but it's also really beautiful as is.

What yarn did you use?  I really like the color, and it looks like it has a slight sheen in your pictures.

ddiana1979 ,Thank you for your comments, it does has a sheen. I am not good at yarn selection. But apparently, this one clicked well. Wink The yarn is Caron simply soft;color:blue9709. It is a lovely color and blue is my husband's favorite.

My next target is a baby dress and a top for myself... will have to start working on it.

I like them.  Very nice shell work.  I don't do intricate, ever!  I am impressed with anyone who can.  Good job on breaking the 6 response rule as well.

Thank you so much!! I am glad you like them. I have had my colleagues liking my work and buying a few stuff. But here the craftsters are so very crafty [no pun intended] and adept in their work that my work is not of its standard. Smiley I still take courage to post them.

Finally, I decided to leave the shawl free without strings attached. Wink
