I made one a year or so ago and used baby yarn. Recently, I made one with sugar and cream cotton yarn, it was heavy and did not sud like the one I made with baby yarn. I plan to make several for Christmas gift for co-workers. This is the pattern I followed, I will use the same pattern with baby yarn.
