Wooo! Finally, after all this time, my first post! Thank you, digicam gods!

Anywho, I don't know if you guys experience this too, but every year, right after the December holidays, I just get so antsy. Why? All December, my hands were busy busy busy making gifts nonstop. And now that the gifting is over... must...continue...crochet!! Can't stop!

LOL So something like this usually happens. In addition to a couple skeins of black and white for border, these lil grannies are the remains of my holiday gifting yarn hoard.

Here's a shot of the pre-assembly layout process. Funny story: see how the edges on them are all rounded? Learning experience! I soon after went completely insane, ripped the edging out of ALL of them, and redid them with a couple added chains to make the corners sharper. *sigh* commitment, y'all.

And here's the finished product! It feels a little... De Stijl to me.

And of course, the customary dog-on-the-new-afghan pic. Hi Ruby!

Thanks for looking!

oh, it's wonderful!  Perfection is such a time-consuming task isn't it?  But it looks excellent!  The extra time definitely paid off.  Bravo!

oh yeah, and the dog is really cute too!  Mine always "claims" any works in progress.  Once, while quilting, he actually curled up on the batting!  haha
