Hi everyone,

I'm normally a poster in the Purses forum, but need to knit a few beanies but somehow have lost my pattern book.....it's here somewhere, but who knows where?  Certainly not me.

I have some Feathers wool and need to knit adult size beanies on 2 needles.....All I can remember of the pattern, is I used to cast on roughly 90 sts using Feathers wool and 4&1/2 mm needles, but as for how long I knitted and what decreases I made, I wouldn't like to try!

I would really appreciate it, if someone in here could point me in the right direction for a pattern that I can use, till I find my book again.  I'm loathed against (does that even make sense?) buying another copy of the book, when I have it here somewhere!

It doesn't matter if the pattern isn't for Feathers wool, but I do need it to be adult sizing, and on 2 needles....I don't do making up my own knitting patterns, and I don't do dpn or fair isle knitting either! lol

Thanks and hopefully someone can help me soon, so I can get these beanies out of the way and return to my sewing.

Hugs
Naomi

I have a couple more links for you. I just finished my first hat on flat needles and ended up getting Stitch n Bitch from the library and used the hot head pattern. That worked out well. But here are some links I found interesting when I was searching.

Are three that I liked. Hope that helps. And if all else fails, get the book you have but can't find from the library. It's such a great resource for pattern books.

YAY....I found my pattern book.....thank goodness.....the pattern I tried, is WAY too small, so I guess my darling granddaughter gets her first feathers beanie for next winter...think she's still a bit young for that type of wool so far....she's 7 mths old.

Thanks for all the links hun.....will have to bookmark them tomorrow for later use...can't always knit feathers beanies hey?

Hugs
