I've been working on the cardigan version, although it's currently on a timeout in the corner because the zipper install is driving me mad, but I think you're ok -- if you look at the finishing steps, page 10, step 28, you're supposed to sew down that center stitch at the end.  Keep going!   Smiley

oy !  So I'm not crazy.  I thought I had read through the directions trying to find what to do with that damn stitch.  I guess I missed it.  Thank you for pointing that out.  haha  that makes me feel so much better now.

I started working on this, again.  I feel like I'm never going to finish it.  poor little sweater
I began knitting last June.   Roll Eyes

That's my progress thus far.  I just finished row 46 on chart C.

haha  It's so hard to photograph yourself without a tripod.
I love love love the way this sweater fits though.  the waist shaping is very flattering.  This is hands down my favorite sweater pattern.
I will definitely knit another one once I've finished this one.  I'd like to knit Eris for my mom, but I'm not sure if she'd be into a sweater like that. :\

Is anyone still knitting Rogue?

If so, feel my pain. bear in mind this is my first sweater and my first moderately complicated cable project...

I decided to start with the sleeves as they seemed quite friendly. I had done about 50% of the cabling on the sleeve and was dead chuffed - it was going quickly. Then I realised I had screwed up a decrease and ended up frogging the whole damned thing.

Actually, my boyfriend frogged it. I cried and threw a wee hissy fit.

I have caught up again now and will post some pics on my blog soon Smiley

And here of course.

I'm still knitting it.  well, ok, I had to stop again for a while due to final exams.. and now I'm knitting some stuff that has to be finished on or around the 31st of May, but hopefully I'll start knitting it again.
Lord, the never-ending project.

Weirdly enough, this seems to be a quick knit for me!

I have almost finished my first sleeve. I am powering through the stockinette at the top so I can do some more delicious cables!

I'm trying to keep this thread alive!

I am well into my second sleeve now.

The wool I am using is Rowanspun Aran in Husk:

It's nice enough to work with but has a gentle slub that occurs in very inopportune places! The colour is lovely though - I'll definitely wear this until it falls off my back.

Here's a nice pic of the sleeve cables for you... mmmm... not too difficult either. I know a lot of people will be put off doing this sweater due to the warning of 'advanced cables' but if you get your teeth into it, it's nice and fun.

oooooooo
I love that.  It's very "rustic" looking.  I thought it was laying on hay at first.

Undecided I need to get back to knitting mine.  gosh
