I would be interested in the Rogue pattern - I just won a huge quantity of alpaca on ebay - in a color I love and I think it would look great in this.
Let me know - Selkie

Ooo!  That Rouge sweater looks lovely but way out of my league skill-wise.  I'd love to see how it turns out for you vetern knitters.

I'm going to start Rogue tomorrow.  I swatched for needle size today, and got perfect gauge on 5mm circs.  Sadly, my least favorite pair of circs, but eh, you work with what you've got.

I won't get the yarn for at least another week and I still need to get the pattern - but I'm in... I'm in graduate school and knit in class - I'll have to see how this goes.

I'm already quite a ways into the sweater already (body done), but I'll be happy to join the crowd.  I'm knitting it in Rowan Magpie Aran in "Coffee Bean".  It's my second sweater and my second experience with cables and I'm finding it a great knit, a challenge but I found it a lot easier than I expected.  If you can read charts, have experience with cables and circular knitting I say give it a try.  The most important thing I discovered was how to fix cable mistakes.  Isolate the cable on your needles, then frog down to the mistake, put the live stitches on a dpn and work on the cable from there, just keep track what row you are on and it should be fairly easy to knit it back up, a true lifesaver when you realised you crossed a cable wrong 4 rows down!  Can't wait to see everyone's rogue.

i'm using Briggs & Little 'Regal' in 'Fundy Fog' - it's a pretty lilac color.  I'm kinda wishing the yarn were a little heavier, but it's going pretty well so far.  I'm at row 24 of Chart A.

I'm not sure I did the 'centered double increase' to start the cables quite right, though.  But i was too anxious to get going to wait till I could get the Starmore book from the library.  But I'm not compulsive or anything Wink

Here are some pictures of my Rogue in progress.  I'm really in love with the yarn and the cabling.

That is gorgeous!

I just put my Rogue to bed for the night.  I finished the back!  This thing is going lightning speed.  Of course, I worked on it for almost 5 hours today, and most of Sunday and Monday (home sick) and a few hours on Saturday, so maybe it's more a reflection of my insanity than the sweater itself. Perfect!  I just ordered the yarn and pattern for Rogue.  I'm using violet Aurora 8 and it should arrive from my lys soon.  So I'll join the Rogue along and start when my yarn comes.  This is my first sweater to knit, and I'm going to modify my Rogue into a cardigan.
