This quilt is based on a pattern by Judy Martin.

I've never made a quilt so big before - it took up my whole quilting frame! And it was a bear to finish piecing the top - it was SO big (and my sewing cabinet is NOT).

96" X 96"
cotton fabrics
cotton batt
machine quilted (by me!)

holy cow! that thing is really big, and really nice.
i love the swirling pattern that the squares make.
i can't even fathom sitting there to sew the actual swirls in the fabric.

I will admit that I do have a 17" long arm on my quilting machine, mounted on a frame. Otherwise I would have been sending out something this large!!!!
