Hello everyone!
This is a necklace made for fellow craftster Nven's birthday last year. I've somehow managed to get completely bogged down in projects for the next few weeks so I haven't had a moment to try and make a new alice necklace (the pretty beads are sitting on my coffee table, begging for attention...)
anyway, this was the first asymmetrical charm necklace that i made, and its still one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. Its called Pirate's Booty because we gave it to her in the treasure chest on a pirate shaped birthday cake a group of us made her ^_^
It has a skull and crossbones charm, a dragonfly, a bee and another charm, and a variety of cuts of Swarvoski crystal in reds and oranges.

Gorgeous!

(and that name, "Nven" - how is it pronounced? My daughter's name is "Niamh" which sounds like "Steve" but with an N - it's Irish Gaelic and means "Bright"

*laughs* sorry, I got stuck on her name and am now super-curious about it, but I am SO hitting "THIS ROCKS" about the necklace - very pretty)

That is really cool... I don't know if I could do jewelry that assymetrical and collaged and think it looked right. Mostly I have to do symmetrical. It looks balanced, though.

Wow! So pretty! I love the asymetrical-ness of it! And the colors!

The picture is so beautiful too! (retouched?)

So pretty!

And random but, my mom has those same earrings! They always remind me of Hershey's kisses.
