My friend's birthday is tomorrow.  So I made her this record bowl.  I sprayed it w/ clear acrylic spray to seal it.  Hope she likes it.  Smiley

I love record bowls, they're so kitschy and awesome. You know what, I love records in general. They're vintage, they're retro, they're fun, they're easy to work with, they can be melted and bent and squeezed, they have a fantastic texture and black glossy color, and face it, they're an american icon.  Grin

That's super cool!!!  I have a ton of records, but we listen to them, so making bowls wouldn't be a good idea, LOL!

But, I have been searching for some cool albums at the thrift store because you can not only use the record for projects, but the album cover for various projects too. 

FUN stuff!

The bowl is so neat!
