So this isn't technically all the way finished.  My husband still has to build a little frame for the top and bottom but it will probably take him months so I thought I would go ahead and post. 

We have a very old house with the original windows and they are HUGE.  This was made for the lower portion of our downstairs bathroom window.  It measures 30" x 36".

This is really, really cool.  I love the design.  When you first take it in, it looks really great.  But, then when you pay attention to the details, you see how special it is.  

Also...LOL about that it might take your husband months to make the frame.  I can relate to your plight.
