That's adorable, and incredible for a first project! Can we expect more crochet from you? I bet future projects will go faster. Smiley

Gabeycakes - Yes, I will likely be doing quite a bit more crochet.  I want to do sculptural stuffed animal type of things, and am working my way towards that.  Although, I have sewn a couple of hats, and now that I have crocheted one, I will likely do a few more.

Thanks to all of you for the positive feed back!  Smiley

I do agree that it looks a bit like a Robin Hood kind of hat, and a bit like a horse rider's hat.  I also was going for a bit of a Peter Pan kind of thing too.  I think the green sort of helps in that way.

If anyone has tips on how to do a brim without it getting wobbly, let me know.

That hat is super cool! I did think Robin Hood at 1st then I read another comment about you looking like  detective and I thought "Sherlock Holmes"!!! Great hat!

Thanks, but the hat from zelda is a long conical hat.  It is green, and my name is Lincoln (you could shorten it to Link, but I would rather you didn't).  Other than that, it isn't really like that hat.
