Row 1 - k1 *yo, sl1, k1, yo, psso the knit st and following yo* repeat from *

On here you *yo, slip 1stitch, knit 1 st, yo, pass slip stitch over (the pervious k1 and yo)*

So I'll end up having a YO, ST, YO, ST, etc, etc, right?

But in the next row, I purl 2, then drop the YOs. I don't get how that's supposed to work.

So you end up with K1,  *YO, ST(K1, YO), YO, ST(K1, YO), etc...*

On R2, you P2 (which are YO, K1 from previous row), then drop the YO that does not have a slip stitch pass over.

On R3, K2, *YO, ST(K1, YO), YO, ST(K1, YO), etc...*, K1

On R4, you P3 (which are K1, YO, K1 from R3), then drop the YO that does not have a slip stitch pass over.

So one each row, you end up with the same number of stitch.

Ah, so in row two I'm purling into the psso? That clears things up a whole LOT. Thanks!
