My DD (the taller one) and my niece, wanted some new dresses.  So of to the fabric closet we went.  They helped me pin, and cut....and I did the sewing, since they were too busy playing.  The one for my daughter, I used a simplicity pattern and modded it a little, okay, a bunch.  And for the life of me, I can't find the pattern in all my craft stuff from this past week.  When I do, I will add the number.  The dress for my niece was a simple from scratch project.  No pattern, just an image in my mind.

Hope you like it....any comments or criticisms are welcome.

p.s. sorry for the sucky pic....will get a better action pic (as soon as our snow is gone here)

They already have idea's for the next slumber weekend sewing project....lol.  This time they want to go to the fabric store though and pick out their own fabric.  Will definately post when we make our next project.
My daughter and I usually sew something at least once a week.  I posted our yo yo butterfly under the Toys and Playthings forum if you want to look.
