Introducing "FLAME"

I showed my daughter some yo yo animals.  And she told me she wanted a butterfly.  I looked everywhere for a pattern, and could not find one.  So, just went with the idea, and voila!  We went through my scrap fabric, and she fell inlove with the flames.   So, I put her to work.  She had to make the 6 flame yoyos.  I traced a cereal bowl to get the size.  Then I used a measuring cup for the tail yo yo , and mixing bowl for the head.  The wings were just basic quilting.  And the eyes, everyday acrylic paint.

Hope you all like her.

Here is my daughter showing of her FLAME. (Ignore the messy hair, I made her get out of bed to take the pic...rofl)

Here is a pic of my daughter and neice sewing their yoyo bodies... (The pink one isn't complete yet. Will post later)  And of course, one of our many fur balls had to supervise.

Any comments or critics are welcome.

very talented kiddies, and furballs make the best supervisors. If I can't be in the yard I make sure our 80lb dog is LOL! no one is going to tempt fate with him.
