I've posted the 5 other stockings I've made for my family, but this is my "piece de resistance".  I'm really proud of how it turned out aand I even added some stiches I've never tried (English knots) and perfected my french knots (yeah!) and it's done in time for mother's day.  These projects have really helped my skills along.  Now I just need combine the quilting and embroidery ...crazy quilts here I come  Wink


Comments and criticisms are appreciated.  No one in my family is crafty so I'm self taught.

What amazing work! 

Are the red flowers made of felt or fabric pieces?  I really them!!
The background is felt and all the flowers are either DMC floss or ribbon, the big red flowers are a simple red satin ribbon about 1/4" wide done in a loop flower stitch.  Thanks for all the kind words!  After looking at it for three weeks I see only the flaws!
