My neighbors cat, Oscar, had to be put down today  Cry  His kidneys started to fail on Friday, and the vet said it was due to toxins, but the cause of the toxins aren't clear at this point.  My neighbor thinks it's from Oscar munching on clumping litter, but really, who knows?

At any rate, we were all hopeful that a course of antibiotics and other meds would help kick start his kidneys, and that just didn't happen.  So, my neighbor just emailed me to tell me that they had to put Oscar down, and I know she's spent the whole day in tears, which is only going to make her Lyme flare up worse than what it already is....

Sooooooooooooo...

I'd like to make something for them since I know that this is a difficult time, but I'm drawing an absolute blank.  I'm sure that their other pets are going to grieve as well, and I just don't know how they are all going to do for these first few days.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
