Just a GIANT cupcake

I actually got mine on eBay - but it was shipped from Amazon.com. They have it at Joann (if there's one nearby) and they usually always have some sort of 40-50% off coupon you can use.  I was just impatient! But it was a great purchase. You can use it for so many different occasions. Every one I've made has been radically different from the last and they are increasingly adorable! I reccommend it!

I just discovered this pan last week and am waiting for a coupon for Joanns or Michaels.  I think it would be great to decorate for a casual wedding reception and serve regular sized cupcakes along with it.  That's the plan right now, even though the BF and I aren't even engaged yet.  I told him about my idea, and sadly he was not quite as enthused as I.  Oh well...I'm still buying the pan!

Adorable. Funny thing is, I swear I can't frost things right. I don't think I could ever make a little/normal cupcake look so good, let alone a huge cupcake! I'm jealous.. hehe

My giant cupcake had babies!



After I saw this post, I had to buy this pan for my daughter's birthday cake. For time's sake, we went with a boxed mix and canned frosting, but I see lots of possibilities. It came out of the pan like a dream, and since we used two boxes of cake mix, we had extra for babies. I think the girls will like it tonight, because, after all, it is pink!!
