wall hanging for my sons nursery, I used the pillow patterns found here http://www.wovenspun.com/indexmain.htm.....the only change i made was to a smaller hook. opinions wanted!!

I love it!  When I was a kid, I would have loved this on my wall.  In fact I'm almost 28 now and I still would.  I like your choice of yarn.

I think if I made these (I might do my initial A) I would be tempted to just crochet the front and use fabric for the back, because I'm lazy.

This is a wonderful idea!  I have the wooden letters on my girls wall and I'm always afraid that they could fall down on them.  These you can hang right over the crib with no worries about bonks!

awesome! We just moved to a new home and I was thinking of doing the wooden letters for my daughter...hmmm....

I like patty-o-furniture's comment about them being soft enough to place above a baby's bed..no ouchies!
