Oh this is so fun! I love buttons and confess that I deconstruct the occasional shirt for fabric and buttony goodness. I'm in, if y'all will have me!

Haha I've bought really tacky skirts just because they had cute buttons on them. I always buy the tacky clothes(because they're made of the CUTEST purse fabrics and have alot of strange buttons) from the thrift store, and never realized how crazy the people who ring my stuff up must think I am. I should tell them I don't plan on wearing it next time, just in case Tongue

Just to let everyone know, there was two phases before this one, there was suppose to be four phases, but I can't seem to find the three & four.  So phase one & also phase two.

Also would be good to ask if the person can take pictures before sending so you can pair people who don't have camera's up with people who do. Smiley

I"d love to do a button swap but I don't have lots of buttons yet. Are we just making crafty items that include or are made of buttons? Becasue I could do a few things like that. Smiley And it would be a lot of fun. Smiley

Good idea!  I'll update the qustionnaire.

Just to let everyone know, there was two phases before this one, there was suppose to be four phases, but I can't seem to find the three & four.  So phase one & also phase two.

Thanks for adding those links. Smiley  Everybody can check out the galleries for a little inspiration.  This button swap will not be a multi-phase swap.  Everyone will have one partner to send buttons to and craft for.

Also would be good to ask if the person can take pictures before sending so you can pair people who don't have camera's up with people who do. Smiley

Thanks!  I'll update the questionnaire to make the question about posting pics clearer.
It's not totally necessary for you to have a ton of buttons to participate.  You and your partner can decide on the number of buttons that you would like to swap in addition to the crafted items.  The 15 to 20 is just a guideline to get things started.  I will add a question to the questionnaire to address this, for people who might be interested in swapping more or fewer buttons.
The crafted items can be made of buttons, embellished with buttons or it can be something to display or organize button collections.  There are a lot of options. The items could be just button themed.  Maybe someone that likes to do paper crafts could make some button stamped notecards.  Polymer clay crafters could make buttons for their partner.

Anyone have any other ideas that they would like to share?
