It's my daughter's friends' birthday today and now that they are teenagers, I'm moving away from amigurumi and over to mini tubs of Ben & Jerry's ice cream with a crocheted sweater for gifts. These are super-easy to make:

1. ch 16, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch to end (15 sc)
2. ch 1, turn. In blo, sc in each sc across.
repeat row two 35 more times.
slip stitch the two sides together.  Finish off and turn inside out.  Weave in ends.

Make a bunch and keep them on hand for last minute gift giving.  Everyone loves their own personal tub of ice cream!

I totally love this! There is nothing more comforting than a pint of B&J Smiley And well... your hands get frozen after a while. Awesome. I think I might just whip up a few myself! Great idea.

For as much as I eat this stuff.. I'm going to need one.

You are so smart.
I'm always trying to use a potholder.
This is way better.
Thanks for the pattern!

I used a G hook with worsted for the rainbow one and a G hook and this chunky cotton-like one for the bluish-purple one.  I'm not sure what the brand is because I got it in a swap.  I really like it though!
