i had one of my mom's XL red cord button up shirts. i want to keep her clothes but. well. they don't fit me. the obvious thing to do is recon them all and turn the scraps into a crazy quilt so. in that line.

but that was called frumpy by everyone.

ok apparently frumpy meant 'make it shorter'


found some apple fabric in my mom's scrapstash.


and those are the happy little apples on the hem

so.. that's my recon.. shirt to appley skirt. none of my beautifulcreatures were in the photo, they're all ticked that i had the audacity to stand on the bed where they sleep to get enough light to take pics. poor kitties.

rakuette- thank ya. I'm torn between feeling like I should start dressing like a grownup and feeling like Dressing Like A Grownup isn't necessarily the most fun. Feel sort of silly sometimes. oh well, a little apple never hurt anyone though.
