I recently decided to start quilting.  I normally jump right into new hobbies and this was no different.  I read some info online, bought some supplies and got started.  I've since finished 2 small quilts for my nephews.  I'm pleased with the outcome but still have A LOT to learn.  Here are the 2 quilts I've finished:

The Mickey Mouse quilt was for my 3 year old nephew, Hudson.  The blue one was for my 9 week old nephew, Clayton.

There's more details on my blog:  http://donotfencemein.blogspot.com/2008/04/learning-to-quilt.html

Love them both, especially the blue and brown one, I have been collecting the same fabric line to make a quilt. I found the same line with different fabrics at Hancocks last week I was so excited.

I usually don't frequent the quilting board, but somehow made my way over here on a sick day off from work.

I love, love, love that blue quilt. Those are my favorite colors. My sister and I were just worrying over what I would sew if she has a boy, but you have eased my worries. We'll be just fine.

Great job!
