So I started with this, which looks like a perfectly fine shirt, but there were sweat stains under the arms Shocked (eew!) which meant it couldn't be worn as a shirt anymore.....

So I decided to turn it into a waistcoat.  I intended to keep the pockets on it, but when I cut the sleeves off I had major pookling action at my boobs going on  Angry, like so

So the pockets had to go as I couldn't put darts in when they were there.  Anyone else wish they had slightly smaller boobs sometimes, just to make the sewing easier?!

And this is what I ended up with!

(I still need to fix one of the darts a bit)

What do you think?  I'm quite chuffed.  It's the first thing I've reconned that I'll actually wear Smiley

Thanks guys!!  Cheesy  I'm definitely improving in the sewing skills department - I can nearly sew in straight lines now!!!  Grin  Still a long way to go before I can make things from scratch.....

You should be quite chuffed, whatever that means. It is a very flattering fit.
