First time with polymer, so ignore the uneven circles, sharpie colors, and fingerprint lumps. Smiley
(Most of the images were found and saved over the past couple months, sorry I didn't save the names!)

Favorite thing I have ever made, ever. Octopus necklace:

I where it proud, even though it doesn't match anything Tongue

Owl buttons:

(they're really not as washed out as they look, my camera just gets too in detail Roll Eyes )

Tree buttons:

Octopus, hot air balloon, and treble buttons:

Grin so how'd I do?

I really do not at all understand the appeal of cephalopods; nonetheless, I've managed to fall victim myself!

I can't decide whether I like the image of the octopus best, or the colors - I especially like the color in the second picture - it's kind of an almost fluorescent green, and against the black of the design, it just looks fabulous!

In short, I love it! ^_^

But we have flamethrowers. And what this indicates to me, it means that at some point, some person said to himself, "Gee, I sure would like to set those people on fire over there. But I'm way too far away to get the job done. If only I had something that would throw flame on them."

Grin Thanks! It's actually supposed to be yellow, but I use my markers so much it has other colors mixed in it, so it's like highlighter yellow/green. Yeah, I know octopus are everywhere now! I've liked them since I was little, but little girls were SUPPOSED to like ponies and other cutesy stuff, so I was never proud of it, but when I joined craftster they were all over! I'm just glad I'm not alone! (:

Oh yeah, I love your avatar! Its so cute! Cheesy

I really like the octopus pendant... it looks like the octopus and heart silhouettes are floating over the surface of the clay like translucent-opaque cane slices will. Cool.

It looks like you may have sealed the clay with a clear finish before drawing on it, but if not, be aware that using certain kinds of markers (inks, paints, etc.) can eat into the clay (immediately or up to 6 months later) since those contain petroleum-based solvents.  (If a sealer has the same kinds of solvents, they'll do it too.)
If you want, you can check out this page especially for various inks, paints, markers, etc., that can be safely used on clay directly and which can be a problem:
http://www.glassattic.com/polymer/letters_inks.htm
and this page for polymer-safe sealers:
http://www.glassattic.com/polymer/finishes.htm )

I posted some suggestions for two of those things in a thread on the Discussions and Questions Completed Projects Polymer Clay board yesterday, so if you want to check out my reply and the whole thread, here's a link:
