My husband surprised me with this book (Alabama Stitch Book) yesterday and I made the T-shirt corset in less than two hours!  I love this top so much!

I love Natalie Chanin's reconstructed patterns, they're awesome!  Anyway, I made a size XS and that required a size Medium tee (if you're using only one t-shirt).  Hope you like it and there's more pics here:  http://yarnbearer.wordpress.com/2008/04/20/a-finished-something/

So you, could spend the morning walkin with me, quite amazed. As I am unwashed and somewhat slightly dazed.

Thanks, it is very simple!  I want a million of them.  You should look at the book and check out the "pretty" version (which has cleaner lines and verse applique, which will take more time, but well worth a look).

Yeeeah, that's the reason it caught my eye.  I'm originally from Alabama, and after looking at their website, it was meant.

No, no boning.  It's just corset-esque because of the fit and the seams.  I don't think the cotton jersey would do well with boning anyway, probably poke a whole right through the fabric in no time.
