I knit a Flying Spaghetti Monster for my atheist brother's 13 year-old son. It was an immense success, garnering me about 5 spontaneous hugs within 15 minutes. From a 13 year-old boy, that's not bad!

It's just a lot of i-cord (cranked out by an embellish-knit), threaded through with wire. The meatballs were crocheted for me by a friend, and the eyes are fimo clay. Yarn-wise, he's just Simply soft in a noodly cream, and chenille Thick & Quick in meatbally brown.

heehee!  I love this!  It was such a good idea to wire the i-cord so he's posable.

Your cat is about to be touched by His noodly appendage!

What a great present.  The i-cords and crochet meatballs are great.  It's a beautiful FSM.  Thanks for the construction info!
