My jaw little dropped open when I saw these.
I LOVE THEM!
Porn is always good, no matter what the medium.

Am I going to get in trouble for these images?  Well, I did them in a proto-feminist, comparing sexisms/women's roles kind of vein, so if you're offended, you don't get it.
And, you're easily offended, so take some B50 complex and try to be happier  Wink

The images didn't offend me, but your comment about "if you're offended, you don't get it" comment certainly put me off.

Instead of being sort of snappy/on the offensive right off the bat, why not post more of an explanation about why you chose the medium that you did or a bit about the technical details of about how you came up with the pattern or, best of all, what prompted you to create these pieces in the first place? Are they for an art project or show? Or for a more personal reason?

Please don't think I'm slamming your craft...I think what you've done is really interesting. But maybe those people who ARE "easily offended" would be more accepting if you could explain what it is that you feel they "don't get" instead of just flaming everybody before they've even expressed an opinion.

They are latch hook, and they were both done without a pattern.  I drew an image (line drawing) on the rug canvas with a sharpie, then "coloured" it in with my collection of yarn-kit leftovers from second hand stores.

I have to agree with this post. I'm not a fan of your choice of images, but I would feel pretty much the same if you used a Southwestern theme. It's just not my thing. I am, however, incredibly impressed by your artwork. I was pretty confident that you didn't go by a pattern, and that takes talent.

I would like to hear more about your inspiration. If you feel it's important, feel free to explain it, instead of .... I'm having a difficult time not just saying the exact same things the post I quoted says. Short version: it's not my thing at all, but I do recognize the talent that went into creating them. If you feel you need to explain your inspiration, I wish you would just do so, instead of jumping at people who may not like them and insulting them.

Little suggestion: I know you put "Porn Rugs" in your title, but you might want to add a CAUTION: MATURE CONTENT for those who may be browsing with little ones!

Even though it is racy I am pretty impressed with the skill involved. I think it's very well done especially with no pattern.
