For people signing up you may want to put if you prefer boye or bates style hooks if you know which you like better.

Now I have an excuse to hit the thrift stores again for pattern books  Grin

That's a good suggestion. I'll add that to the questionnaire for anyone else who might want to answer it.

Wow this seems like so much fun! I really hope I have the fund-a-lations to do this one (think, college student who has no income at this time) so I'm gonna wait and finish up my other swaps.

This seems like a blast though! Smiley I just got done with the knitter's swap (I'm a newbie knitter) and it'd be nice to help a newbie crocheter! Smiley

I tried to get my cousin to learn so he can learn and enjoy crocheting will listen to my obsession over yarns and hooks and things.... Wink

I'll keep this one bookmarked!

I'm taking a crochet class on May 3rd, so it would probably be a bad idea for me to sign up for this swap, eh?   Grin  I think I'd be just asking for trouble.  But I might have to keep an eye on you guys and see if there's another round after this one!

You could join and ask to receive a starter kit. And for the one item you do have to craft, it does not have to be crocheted. If you know how to sew, you can make a WIPs bag for your partner. Smiley

Oh, see, there you go.  Ooooh, so tempted.  This would be my first swap, you know.  *thinkthinkthinkthink*
