Ive had a really long easter holiday from uni, so ive been making loads of stuff while ive got the time. now trying to finish stuff off and put some things up on craftster before term starts.
this was inspired by the work of Friedensreich Hundertwasser (have a look on google if you dont know his paintings) ,
tho im not keen on all the brighter colours so ive stuck with greens and blues and browns..and a bit of yellow.  I only had brown ,yellow and navy,  and a tiny bit of white, fabric paint so i had to mix up the greens . green is completely my favorite colour.
the tshirt was just plain beige real cheap. took AGEs to paint tho. Its pretty roughly painted, gaps showing and stuff , but its ok. hope you like.
anyone else been inspired by artists to make wearable artwork?

I love this. It reminds me of Picasso's art, but then again we watched a movie about him in art today so that may be why. Either way I love it.

thankyou! I studdied Hundertwasser as part of my A-level Art a few years ago. The fabric paint is dylon fabric paints, i kept watering them down loads tho as i was running out! You just paint them on ( tho i usually do sponge stuff with stencils) and iron to fix. then they soften after washing.

This is wonderful, very inspiring--I have loads of plain tee shirts and painting on them like this is something that hadn't occurred to me.  I love it!  Hitting this rocks!
