So, this is my first swimsuit that I've ever made, and I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. This is actually for my collection that I'm putting together for a fashion show in May! I am going to add some tiny braiding detail to the sides later on.

Gorgeous! I love the look of monokinis, but I'm afraid to get one because I'm afraid I'll have really weird tan lines.

Did you use a pattern?
It looks fabulous! I really love the colour you chose.

I've been seriously wanting a swim suit like that.

I'm in awe of people who can make swimsuits.

If you make another and are open to suggestions, I think it would be a little more awesome if the top part was a bit higher, so the piece connecting the top and bottom was longer, thus make your torso seem longer. It's still really awesome though.

Thanks so much for the wonderful comments! To answer a few of your questions -

I am going to school for fashion design, so I did draft this pattern myself. The material used is a poly/spandex blend.

And I realize it does make my torso a bit short, so I am going to make the bottom piece a bit longer. I just wanted to show it off a bit!

And for those who want to make a swimsuit, do it. It isn't as hard as it seems, REALLY. But you do need a good serger.

This is beautiful.

Also, not to be creepy but your curvy body is outrageously hot.
