Hi everyone!

I can *kind of* knit (= I can garter stitch Cheesy) but I am much, much better and faster at crochet. However, I am in love with the whatchamacallit known as a calorimetry...those little hairband things? Yeah? We on the same page? Good. Well, I have looked around everywhere for a crochet version of these things, and I haven't found one. So, I ask you, dear Craftster hookers - is there such a pattern in existence that you can pull up for me, or is a calorimetry distinctly a knit item?

Thank you so much!

Didn't know what u were talking about so I googled Calorimetry.  Here's a link.  Pretty simple to make by reading her description. http://bronsfiberstuff.typepad.com/brons_blog_ii/crocheted_calorimetry/index.html .  Scroll down till you see the red pictures and you are there.  She does not write it like a pattern form but she tells you how many chains increases etc and where.  Hope this is what u were lokking for.

I saw this yesterday and thought about the Calorimetry using the stitches in this video. http://www.coatsandclark.com/Crafts/Knitting/Howtos/ .  The one with the lady showing.  I know it is for cuff socks but the second one she shows is stretcher.

Hey a fellow crafter has given us a pattern for this.  They are calling it a Panta or Calorimetry.  Scroll down and there is a pattern.
