hey everyone, OK so i love to make plushies and but usually make their eyes out of buttons or applique felt....but I've seen so many cute plushies that have real looking eye's.  I was wondering where you get them?  is it on line some where or is it at a local craft store?  Ive tried looking with no luck, some help would be awesome!  Thanks a ton!!!

There are numerous types of eyes. You are probably talking about safety eyes. Currently I buy mine at JoAnn Fabrics. They had stopped carrying them but have them again. They only have brown right now. I believe some ppl have found them at Hobby Lobby. If you check the first post for the poppet along there are some links. Try ... scrafts online, some poppet makers are also getting them from ebay.

Sunshine crafts (online store, see Poppet along for link) has clear and colored eyes in a multitude of sizes. I buy the clear ones and paint them with acrylics to make them more realistic.

I can never find the right sort of eyes I'm looking for in the stores in my city.  I buy them all online at crscrafts.com. They are in the bear supplies section.  They are cheap and CR's ships really quickly.
