Just thought i'd share my wedding invites.
I designed them myself in illustrator - the background behind the text is the pattern on my dress - photographed than edited on the computer
I used a fancy corner punch on each corner than glued it on a larger sheet of red cardstock (with a nice linen look to it)
Let me know what you think!

and one computer rendered to show off the background pattern since it didn't scan in very well on the gold paper
the gold paper is a nice sparkly gold vellum paper

(and it's not our real last names)

These are really pretty, the colors work really well together.

Very small wedding.. just have to make 15
The colors are the same colors as my dress. It's red with a gold brocode and is asian styled and thrifty too! i got it on ebay for $30 incl shipping and its new.
I also got white paper parasols for guests since it will be outdoors. other than that i don't think we'll do much for decorations.
I'm planning on making paper flowers for the cake - just need some practice first!
We're keeping this low cost, it'll be held in my soon to be inlaws backyard
They live on an acreage so it's beautiful and lush
We're having a cocktail reception to follow with just finger foods and drinks.
So our main cost is the caterer.
