This is from the Spring 2008 issue of Knitty, it's a very quick, pretty easy knit. I'm ok with the result, though I might replace the button for one with a bit more pizazz.

how was this to knit? pretty straightforward? did you like the pattern? i have been eyeballing it and waiting to see how others' turned out! yours is very cute...

I can't say I loved knitting this, but that is my own bias against knitting with big needles. It was a quick knit, which is good. The pattern was ok, i got mixed up a couple of times, but I think i was just distracted, or didn't care enough, or both -- don't think it was the pattern's fault.
I think it's totally worth knitting if you like the finished result, it's not a big time investment.

Hmmm...I would replace the button with one with more color to it. The colors in the sweater itself are very pretty but it needs something to make it pop.

I ran through the snow with Clark Gable and he sang me a song about cheese!
