Ive been wanting a few pettis for my girls but even at $30 a pop thats expensive for just one each.
So I watched the lovely martha stewart show monday  and made my own tuesday LOL
Im planning more for sure.
SO CUTE. Cost about $12 in materials.
Its soft and super full just like the Original pettis.
just cheaper Wink
I still have to add  the inside bottom fluff ruffle but otherwise its done.

I have to say that i never watch Martha Stewart, unless it is a halloween or wedding special...but on Monday my DD got ahold of the remote and somehow got Martha Stewart on the tv and I caught the tail end of the pettiskirt how to. But I went to the web site and found all of the instructions and download the entire episode to watch.

I saw this on Martha, too, and ran out and bought yards of chiffon.  I haven't started the skirt yet.   I was amazed to hear the woman who makes these pettiskirts that she gets $80 each!!!  Of course that prompted me to say, "I can do this for ten bucks!"

You did a great job, btw.
