I had made this a while back, and since the new flick is a month away (I'm so excited I can't think straight, what with me being the biggest Indy fan ever!), I thought people might enjoy this.

I can't really remember how I made the body suit, but the buttons and zippers are functional, but it all velcros underneath. Doxies are so low to the ground, I reversed the look so it'd be a little more obvious what his costume was.
It's what happens when you have the flu, scrap fabrics, and too much time on your hands. Heh heh.
I do remember how I made the hat - it's a doll hat that started out white and fuzzy and was painted with watered down acrylics and a brown satin ribbon and elastic added.

And yes, he's wearing this to the premiere. Muahah! Poor dog...He's a kind one to put up with all the krap I make him wear.
Bad pics...but enjoy!!

AH I want to steal your dog, its so adorable! I too, love Indy! I was actually going to get an Indy tattoo started, and then i heard about the movie, and I know if I got a tattoo, it would make the movie be crap and then I'd be stuck with an indy tattoo.

Anyway, I totally want to make my ferret a Henry Jones costume or something now! Maybe a Sallah costume for my rat.. hmmm... Nazi uniforms for the cats...

Oh my god, he's awesome!  I love the whip.

My short-haired weenie won't stand for wearing clothes, but the woolly bully long-haired loves it (and then gets tooooo hot.)

You did a great job!  Doxie tailoring is an art!

Thank you, everyone!

And, hey, don't let the cuteness fool you. He's devilshly smart, totally has me trained, has a bad attitude and pees EVERYWHERE!

Doxie clothing IS hard to make. Darn their tube bodies and freakishly short legs!

And...I'm nervous about the new movie too....but it's Harrison Ford, and he has the hat and the whip, and that makes everything okay in my book Cheesy Hee hee.
I will miss Sallah, HJ Sr., and Marcus Brody, though.

MADness -- You should totally make the rat a Lost Ark Monkey costume, and the ferret a Marion Ravenwood. Although any costume for a ferret is a good costume. I love ferrets, they crack me up!

That is awesome.  I think Doxies would do a lot more damage if they all carried rope around with them. I have a doxie/beagle? mix who is an evil genius, too.  Well done!

Thanks everyone Cheesy

So, he didn't get to wear this to the premiere-- but I think a Mutt costume is now in the works! I was inspired by Shia's goofy greaser hair!

Doxie wigs: should be hilarious!!
