We had 7 hours of music planned out and played for different portions of our wedding, so you probably don't want that list. ha

This is our track listing for our wedding cd favour. Each of the songs has some sort of meaning for DH and I.

1.  Spiritualized - Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space
2.  Verve - Sonnet
3.  Snow Patrol - Run
4.  Grant Lee Buffalo - Truly, Truly
5.  Suede - The Wild Ones
6.  The Stone Roses - I Wanna Be Adored
7.  Blur - Youre So Great
8.  Alice In Chains - Heaven Beside You
9.  PJ Harvey - This Is Love
10. Charlatans - The Only One I Know
11. Divine Comedy - Perfect Love Song
12. Richard Ashcroft - A Song For The Lovers
13. The Rolling Stones - Moonlight Mile
14. The Flying Burrito Brothers - To Love Somebody

Our wedding song was You and I by Michael Buble. Our last dance was to Save the Last Dance for My by Michael Buble.
My dance with my dad was Lullaby (Goodnight my Angel) by Billy Joel.

Other than that, we just played lots of fun songs to get up and have people dance [not dance/techno, but old stuff that's fun to dance to].

my fiance and i are either going to have our first dance to better together by jack johnson or the way i am by ingrid michaelson.  Cheesy

we'll also be playing anyone else but you by the moldy peaches, but not til later so the "twist up your face and did a dance/shook a little turd out of the bottom of your pants" line blends in with the noise.  Grin

My husband had a whole "soundtrack" planned for our wedding that he and my maid of honour put together (I couldn't list is all right now).  But here are the highlights: Our fist dance (and what I walked down the aisle to) was It's Always Winter by Relient K.  My Dad and I danced to Perfect Day by Roger Whittaker (my Dad picked).  And we played a bunch of old Big Band Stuff, and some selections from Brent Spiner's CD (it's very good if you can track it down).

Our first dance song is You and Me by Lifehouse.
I think the Father-daughter song will be Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton but I'm waiting on my dad to approve. I think he will, who really could disapprove of Clapton?

oh mans, I'm going to have to listen to all the songs you guys have posted so far ^_^  Putting songs on my wedding "playlist" is how I distract myself from the less fun activity of trying to find a wedding site from 200 miles away (we should have put gas money in the wedding budget ; p)

Anyways, for our first dance, we're thinking "First Day of My life" by Bright Eyes.  But I just heard "Better Together" by Jack Johnson the other day and its a really fantastic song too!!

We're trying to very subtly infuse the party with some of our personality (e.g. Mii cake toppers ; p)  We were talking the other night about video game music (my fiance loves it, we help out at a vg music radio show every week) and how to most people it would just sound like pleasant classical music.  So we're thinking about playing some during dinner, and were also thinking about incorporating Love and Peace from Earthbound into the ceremony somewhere (you can hear it here, but we have a much nicer orchestral version from an album I got in Japan a while back: http://www.earthboundhq.com/soundtrack.htm ).

my walk down the aisle song is first breath after coma by explosions in the sky
our first dance song is a song for you by gram parsons
after those two we haven't really picked too much, we are having a dj who spins old soul 45's so there will be dancing a plenty.
