im going to use the melt and pour method to make some soaps and i was thinking of using beet root, carrot, or something like that to add color. can adding color this way stain the skin with frequent use of the soap? thanks!

I haven't tried any of those. The only natural colorants I have used are cocoa powder (use sparingly, or it will come off on hands/body parts when you use soap) and green tea powder, which mutated/faded from a really pretty green to a really ick tan. But that was with cp, not sure if it would still do that in mp.

Like maremare, I'm only familiar with CP soap, not MP soap.

However, I can give you a link to my natural colorant page for CP

I found you table to be very interesting. Along with adding color does it also add sent?
