I spent all of Saturday and about an hour today making a skirt with matching hair bows and other random accessories.

It's got a fully elastic waistband. I really struggled on making everything look very professional but I think I did a good job :3 It might look too wide but that's because it's in the lolita style and it needs to fit a petticoat.

Close up of the lace!

Matching hair bows <3

Action shot ^^ I used flash to show the true mint color

I also made these. The combs don't stay as well since they're plastic but I'll find use for them I'm sure

Let me know what you think!! Thanks for looking :3

Very Cute!  Cheesy
Lovely fabric print, perfect for springtime.
The rose combs are lovely, I've found if you weave a hairpin or two between the teeth of the comb they stay in better.

so adorable! you look wonderful! Did you put the skirt together as a circle-type skirt? Or as a straight piece gathered at the waist? either way it's fantastic

If I was ever stranded on a deserted tropical island, within a month I'd have built my own Craft Store and have trained monkeys to work the registers.

I heart personal swaps.

I use a rectangle skirt method. So I just sewed the channel for the elastic and when I thread that through it gathered by itself :3
