mimiw, that is a great block for sew~amy.  I like how the floral fabric is "framed" by the rest of the block.

Here is my newest addition- a block for critterpants! I used the block tutorial over at http://crazymomquilts.blogspot.com/2008/05/star-quilt-along-week-4.html  I am doing her star quilt a long.  This is the same pattern that I used for lukenlarry's but I altered hers a little. Smiley

Critterpants, I am glad you like it!
I also love star blocks and I am still a little weary of paper piecing so I like to stick to what I know. Grin  Plus, I like to see how different the blocks can look when using different fabrics.
I have one I did for me on my blog for the quiltalong.  Is anyone else doing that?  She posts great instructions.
I was feeling a little behind so I thought I needed to catch up here.  Hopefully, more blocks will appear this week!

I was hoping to do her quiltalong, but I have way too much other stuff on my plate right now. I have used some of her square patterns though. Really great instructions and its all so easy to follow. I'll probably do it after it's all done.
