i love the blocks so far, way too cute (and the one for Flashley, WOW that is gorgeous, i think i am gonna use it as a jumping off point for another set of fabrics)

i'm back! i wanted to do a block representing me so i thought flag, since i'm the only canadian in the swap i figured it would be a block that would be so "me". but when i googled i came up with many blocks that were not pleasing to the eye! but then i found . . . the maple leaf!

OH man the standard is already set so high for this swap.

I LOVE those soooo much!!!  Seriously gorgeous.  And I love how it says "you."  Seriously, bravo!  woot.

Bravo to all, I am drooling over everything in the gallery.

I made a mistake with the brown ... anybody see it? I didn't until I was finished and I didn't have enough fabric to replace.  My feelings won't be hurt if you fix it when it comes to you, Ashley.

I chose this design because I was really feeling the large prints and wanted to showcase them the best I could.  I still love your fabrics sooo much.

i do see it, but only because i was looking for a mistake. i think its GORGEOUS...how was that pieced?

Paper piecing!  Which makes lovely results but is a headache for me.  I can't ever figure out what size to cut the pieces.  Thankfully Ashley sent a lot so I had a little bit of muscle room but ugh.
