i am doing a tester block with my fabrics as i type . . . . and watching reruns of sex and the city . . . so ya its getting done fast! lol i am hoping to do the same block for everyone so i wanted to make sure i have all the measurements so it is 12.5 by 12.5 when finished. i looked long and hard for the perfect block that would so be "ME" i originally thought appliqué cause i figured no one else would do it and when you saw the block you would immediately say 'thats the block 1b1g1k2 did' but then thought maybe in a quilt of all pieced blocks maybe a lone appliqué would look funny so i found a pieced block that is true to me! pics in a bit . . . off to sew now
