Woot.  Paper piecing.  I fussy cut the centers.  I want to keep this block.  I love her fabrics too.  So far the fabrics have def been within my usual pallete.

Wow the new additions are lovely!!!  I am in the middle of researching to write a 50 page paper and prepare for an exam and I am still so glad I am organizing this swap.  You all are so inspiring.

No rush!  I am going quick as even when this is over then I have to study for the bar, but there are two months to do the blocks ;P

Wow, wow, wow!!  I love these blocks!!!   Flashleyashley and glittergirl your fabrics are awesome!!   I am so jealous that I don't get to make any blocks for you.     I am so sad I don't have any of you quys fabric to work with yet.  Cry  I guess I will have to make some of my own blocks.  I never even made one for the last swap!!! My fabrics will go out by the end of the week (crossing fingers!)   since I have finished shopping. 

I also love that Canadian leaf block, 1boy1girl1kitty2 and I can't wait to see how it will look in my fabrics!!!

Sew~amy  I think your fabrics are gorgeous too!!  I would even use some of them in my own quilt!!!  I love blues, yellows and greens.

sew~amy, I love my block!  It is so pretty.  I think it turned out great. I also received your fabric today, and I am excited about working with it. 

 I can not believe all of the pretty blocks so far.  Glittergirl, your fabric is awesome and I like what athenmat and stafishtaylz did with it.  The fussy cutting was a great move athenamat, and I am loving that starpattern, stafishtaylz.

For me:

late night crafting as a reward of a day of studying ... Here's my block for craftster quilt swap II.  It's a bit wrinkly because I had to wash some black marks my dirty iron made and the paper is still connected.



I may do a variation of this block for everyone.  I like it a lot.

mimi, it is awesome!  I like the fact it is crazy!  It is cool how you have different thicknesses and angles.  It reminds me of a wonky log cabin block times two.  I keep wanting to make some like that. That is really neat.

Athenamat:  I love that pattern.  I keep thinking I might do the same pattern for many people like we saw in the last swap because it is cool how different they look depending on the fabric choices.  I have to say I am really liking those shoes.  It should turn into a kinda upscale, urban ladies quilt!  Awesome.
