This tote was my first embroidery project (yay! It was so much fun too!) and a present for my buddy, Kategirl! It was based off of something from her wists, so I take absolutely NO CREDIT for the design but I can't find the picture I based it off of now Sad Please, if you know which this came from, PM me or post the link here so I can give the proper credit!!  Grin

The tote was hand made be me, after I embroidered the canvas. This was probably the most rewarding bag I have ever made. I am STILL so happy with it!!

I didn't get a picture of the inside- but it's a green and purple polka dot Smiley

What do you guys think, should I keep trying to embroider? lol!

yep yep! Keep stitching! the design is REALLY cute - the only thing I can think of that would possibly improve it is maybe to use the stitch you used for the tree branch to outline the birds.

Thanks!
I'll definitely keep that in mind, next time! Thanks! That stitch was a lot more fun to do, anyway! lol

I know! Slip stitch is so much more fun to do than back stitch -  and your slip stitch looks really good. nice and even with no gaps at the start of the 2nd stitch.

I've been embroidering since high school and I STILL can't do French knots correctly. I'll be using beads from now on - that's such a great idea.

Aww it's so nice!
I was just going to comment how I liked the stitch you used for the birds when placed next to the branch Tongue ... makes it seem a bit different.
