I did it again!  Grin I folded each star from 3x70mm paper strips in rainbow colours. Each star is a little under 5mm across. The Chinese characters on each star were also painstakingly handwritten on both sides by myself. Here are the definitions of the Chinese symbols on each star:
Dark pink -> Happiness
Light pink -> Youth
Orange -> Health
Yellow -> Friendship
Green -> Family
Light blue -> Success
Dark blue -> Peace
Purple -> Love

What do you think?

Trust me they are simplified/modern Chinese characters, I learned Chinese for 12 years  Grin The Japanese adopted some traditional Chinese characters and call them Kanji, but they don't have Kanji characters for every word and sometimes use other original Japanese scripts like "hiragana" or "katakana". More info on Wikipedie http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanji

Got them from a local gift shop, I'm in Malaysia btw  Wink

 Kiss :-*You guys are so kind! Thank you!

I folded the stars with just my fingers and nails. But I did use a tweezer to hold the star in place while writing. Heck the writing part was the hardest! Can't remember how many times I had to throw away and redo a star because the writing looked like an ugly black smudge. Need a super fine tip pen Tongue

Wow-those are incredible!!! Shocked

My daughter just started getting into origami and since she is only nine that means I have really been getting into origami-so I can appreciate how difficult it must have been to make those teeny stars!!!

Oh wow. So adorable!! I've never seen origami stars made so tiny before. Oh, I'm definitely going to have to try and fold some this size if I ever get the right paper (or have someone do the correct measuring for me, because I always mess stuff like that up, lol Smiley ).
Great job!!!

Maybe this is really common, but is there an origami diagram on the web somewhere to create these stars?  I'd definitely have to start a little bigger, but I'd love to try!
