All I can say is check my feedback at ebay. I have all the proof I need right there. Proof that I sold these things before porge began creating, and I've posted proof in this thread that porge looked at everyones work on ebay when she first began creating copies, which she likes to call 'competition'.

So, yes, these look super delicious!!  The only problem I have with such creations currently is that I'm pregnant and not responsible if I happen to munch on one in a fit of weakeness.

porge, your stuff is adorable, and if i didn't know it were clay, i would probably try to eat it. way to go on being so talented at crafting at such a young age, and don't let anyone get you down

as a side note, as a fairly new member, all i have encountered so far is people being nothing but encouraging and supportive of each other. the arrogance expressed here kinda made me scratch my head a little. this site is supposed to be uplifting and inspirational to crafters. its not supposed to make a young person who is just excited about showing off a skill dread booting up her computer to see what else has been said about her. my mama always taught me to keep my mouth shut unless nice things were coming out of it. and kudos to everyone for sticking up for her

Excuse me, no disrespect to you, but do you have any idea of the hours I spend working on these creations and trying to come up with something unique? And then afterwards my designs get treated as though everyone can do what they want with them? And everyone seems to think thats normal!

Yes kudo's to everyone for sticking up for the design thief! Thats what I have to boot up my computer to!

Does anyone here have any clue about design rights at all?

i have seen very similar work here (uk) over the last year or so - very hard to state with 100% accuracy that a design is totally original or say it has 'never' been done - its a very big world out there, & crafts are on the up

by the very act of putting it on a public, craft based forum such as this, you run the risk of people 'copying' designs, adapting designs, being influenced by them etc - anything you really want to keep to yourself , just don't post it! i believe there is a warning to that extent somewhere on craftster?

just for the record, i don't make polymer clay items, don't buy them, don't own them - but have been 'designing' & sewing for far too many years to think that a true one off original design happens very often

**edited to add: just scrolled through the rest of this, saw the note from the mods - am happy to remove this if needed, have altered my post incase it was too personal - i don't think it is, i just think it risks repeating a topic that has cropped up repeatedly in different threads

That is exactly how i feel opheliapoe and so i just want to express my deepest appolagies to everyone on this site for bring this debate to craftster. I am sorry that I_Art_Candy keeps on typing these things and i would like to say to the people in charge that i will not be offended if they wish to take this thread away, as i understand it is not pleasent for arguments like these to be up on a lovely friendly site like this.
Also just a thank you for everyone that has stood up for me, it means a lot.

I'm planning on playing with polyclay sometime this summer, and things like your creations are what have inspired me! I love the little chocolates and donuts, and your ice cream looks so realistic! Good job!
