I prefer nail polish to fray check for corset ribbons. it makes the ends a little stiffer (which might not be great for all projects) but lacking flimsy ribbon through 3 dozen grommets is a massive pita, so the stiffness is really welcome there. I've found that angling the end and applying 2-4 coats makes it work nicer (sorta like the aglets that many corsets have on the ends of the ribbon).

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

Now why on earth didn't nail varnish cross my mind?! Roll Eyes I think I'll give a few of these methods a go on some scrap ribbon first and see which one turns out looking the nicest. Thank you everyone! Cheesy
