OKay, this is making me feel stupid, but I've never done anything like this before.

Once I get to http://www.craftster.org/pictures/index.php, how do I upload my pictures??  Thanks!

Thank you for your help!

When you mentioned the button I knew something was wrong b/c I couldn't see it!

Turns out the cookie filter on the computer was preventing me from really logging on.

Thanks for helping me figure it out!

Okay, I know this is an "old" topic, but I figured it was worth a shot, eh? I seem to be having the same problem as you had but, I can't figure out how to change the cookie filter to let me log in properly. (Not to mentio- I don't know what a cookie filter is.) Perhaps you could assist me?

Its amazing, really, how much you can change the meaning of something simply by taking it out of context.

Ok, I've found the cookie button, but I don't know what I have to do with it! Delete cookies, store more, change the frequency of checking for new pages...

??

I'm pretty sure you're sposed to allow more, because my computor, being a work one, doesn't allow very many at all but it always comes up with a pop up that says "do you want to store this cookie?".
I'd say allow as much as you possibly can, and as much too, but it can be hramful to your computor. Best speak to a computor person.

Personally I disallow as many cookies as possible!  All of them are advertising-oriented except for a few where a cookie is required to make it possible to post on a board, to pay at e-bay, amazon, etc.  Some boards will also try to put other non-necessary cookies on your computer from their "advertising partners" too --advertisers love you when you allow all their cookies Grin.  So it's best to check and see which cookies you need and which you don't need, in order to use a site the way you want to use it (maybe you'll want a lot... I don't though).

Every cookie puts your e-mail address on a list (or hundreds of lists) of advertisers though, so just be aware of that (...they can also then sells their lists of e-mail addresses to even more advertisers/spammers, and eventually they can get to the more unsavory "advertisers" too  Shocked).

To check out which cookies you have, and to get rid of any you don't want, if you're using the Internet Explorer browser, click on:

Tools (in the toolbar) > Internet Options > Privacy > Sites

You'll see a long list of cookies you've either accepted or denied (I have the option of set up for being asked for permission every time a cookie tries to put itself on my computer).
You can remove cookies from the list, or you can allow or block any particular cookie by copying it into the Allow/Block window.  At least that's the way it works for me.

I always try to remember and check the list every so often because a few end up sneaking their way onto my computer in various ways anyway and I get enough spam as it is.

Okay, here's where to set the warn-me-before-accepting-cookies option for Internet Explorer, if you're interested:

`````````````````````````````````````
Tools (in the toolbar) > Internet Options > Privacy > Advanced
Then this is what I have in the options that come up from that:
(checked) Override Automatic Cookie Handling
(checked) Prompt... under First Party Cookies, and under Third Party Cookies
(checked) Always Allow Session Cookies
OK
``````````````````````````

P.S.  You can also set your Pop-Up blocker from this page... another very wonderful option!

Okie-Dokie, I have tried to upload a picture several times and I get this error message saying that the picture is over my limit.  The picture is only 35kg and the upload manager says that I have 10,000kg max.  So I don't understand why it won't upload.  I am new here and just don't quite get it.
